We are are pleased to offer you the UK's only Bridge Bungee Jump. The location is the iconic Transporter Bridge in Middlesbrough. This experience is one to remember, you climb the 210 steps to the top of the bridge and then take the long slow walk to the middle, now it's time - take in the view from 160ft before 3-2-1 Bungee and you plummet towards the River Tees. Buzzing big time, a waiting speed boat will pluck you from the air and take you to dry land. You will arrive at the location and make yourself known at the main desk; you will then be required to complete a membership form. You will then be weighed twice to ensure that the correct bungee rope is used for your jump. You will then climb the 210 steps to the top of the bridge. Next it is time for you to get into the harness and to have the ankle straps attached. The professional staff performs a number of checks and double checks on all of the equipment. Now all you have to do is jump off! There will be a personalised video / dvd and merchandise available for you to buy to remember your experience with. Duration : You should allow around an hour from arrival for your complete experience. What to Wear / Equipment : Dress in comfortable, casual clothes. Skirts are not recommended (think about it). Locations : Middlesbrough, Teeside Group Size / Spectators : You are welcome to bring spectators to watch you jump. Weather : Extreme weather conditions may affect this experience. If in doubt, please call the centre to check before setting off. Availability : Limited availability during the summer months only, please contact us for dates. Restrictions : Minimum age is 14. Under 16s need a parent/guardian's signature. Over 50s will need a doctor's certificate to jump. You must be in good health and you must make the centre aware of any medical conditions that you think may affect you being able to jump. Glasses and contact lenses MUST be removed prior to your jump. You can not bungee jump if you have any of the following: high blood pressure, heart condition, dizziness/epilepsy, pregnancy, asthma, neurological condition and diabetes.
